Connected Motorcycles Bring Together Two Technologies: Vehicle Infrastructures and Telephony Infrastructures

Connected Motorcycles

What is the future of connected mobility? In an era of autonomous vehicles, Connected Motorcycles, which are fully integrated with computers, and Internet-connected devices that can be controlled by voice commands, the future of mobility has arrived. The future of connected motorcycles will bring together two technologies that have been separated for many years: vehicle infrastructures and telephony infrastructures. When vehicles communicate with one another, they can share data, images, and video, which are a powerful way to enhance safety, but also to dramatically reduce costs and streamline operations.

There is one other crucial component of the Connected Motorcycles: big data. Many organizations are already using big data and artificial intelligence in a number of different ways to drive business objectives. However, there are a few problems with the use of big data in this arena, primarily that human decision-making is difficult to control and many people are uncomfortable with large amounts of unstructured data (data per person) being shared across multiple vertical markets. This creates a number of challenges for the organization that needs to decide how to best utilize the available big data and artificial intelligence in the transportation sector.
