Skin Rejuvenation Devices are used for cosmetic treatments to make the face and skin appear more youthful. It helps people look and feel younger by improving the natural glow of the skin. Skin rejuvenation involves treating variety of skin disorder such as wrinkles, facial lines, dark circles, pigmentation, stretch marks, scars, acne, age spots, and dry and itchy skin. These skin problems are characterized by the loss of subcutaneous fat tissue, loss of skin elasticity, thin and dry skin, and reduction in production of sebum. There are various device based methods of skin rejuvenation such as laser-based methods, microdermabrasio, light photo rejuvenation, fractional resurfacing, sub surfacing non-ablative lasers, and radiofrequency devices.

These methods can be used alone or in combination, according intensity of the skin problem. The most popular of the medical devices used for nonablative skin rejuvenation are Visible Light Lasers, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) And Radio Frequency. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), also known as pulsed light and broad band light, is a non-laser light source used to treat a variety of vascular and pigmented lesions, active acne, photo damage, and unwanted hair. A therapy can improve lackluster skin for people of various ages and skin types. With today's variety of non-invasive skin rejuvenation options, IPL (intense pulsed light) photo facial therapy is at the top of the list for giving patients fantastic results.

IPL skin rejuvenation is an effective way to achieve youthful and healthy-looking skin. It can benefit those with loose skin, fine lines and wrinkles, rosacea, and hyperpigmentation. Though intense pulsed light (IPL) skin rejuvenation has been proven effective, it does require between 2 to 5 treatments to provide the best results. While, RF therapy (radio frequency therapy) uses low energy radiation to heat the deep layer of the skin called the dermis, and help improve signs of wrinkles and sagging skin. Skin Rejuvenation Devices are usually safe and can be effective at treating mild or moderate signs of aging. It can be used to treat a wide range of concerns from acne, skin lesions, waxing procedures and cold sores to fine lines, puffy eyes, and sagging skin.

Laser resurfacing is great tool as it can help improve various problems of the skin, such as acne sun spots, fine lines, scarring, wrinkles, and even tattoos and loose skin. During ablative laser resurfacing, a laser beam is directed at the skin. A laser beam destroys the outer layer of skin (epidermis) and heats the underlying skin (dermis), which stimulates collagen production over time, resulting in better skin tone/texture. However, laser resurfacing does not have permanent results. Many people notice immediate results on their skin. With changes to the skin because of aging, new wrinkles and expression lines appear. Side effects are milder and less likely with nonablative approaches than with ablative laser resurfacing.
