Horticulture is the practice of growing plants in a controlled environment using artificial lighting. This is where leading lights are used to grow and nurture the plants. Most of the horticulture companies across the world have started using the LED lights as they are more durable and the plants look very good with them on. Horticulture has gained importance because it has a very large impact on food habits and people depend on the plants for their survival.

The horticulture industry is going through some fundamental changes. Earlier, people used to rely on candles and incandescent bulbs which emitted harmful gases and it was quite dangerous. The gardeners can adjust the amount of heat required for specific plants and can avoid overheating the plants.
